US 101 HOV & Rehabilitation Project

Mark Thomas & Company hired C Below to perform an extensive Utility Investigation along the US 101. Our crews completed 20 days on-site, mostly off-hour nighttime work, in various areas of Carpinteria, CA. C Below coordinated with the client, Caltrans, the County, and the Traffic Control Company local to the area to ensure all of the encroachment permits and coordination was complete.

Altogether, our crews performed around 100 potholes to verify the horizontal and vertical locations of all utilities in the work area. The areas included exposing lines on the freeway as well as on/off ramps. C Below’s crews dipped manholes to get the information for the sewer lines also. The final report was delivered in the form of a detailed pothole report.
